On 24-25 February 2025, the dissemination conference "GREEN DISTRICT HEATING: TRANSITION TO DISTRICT HEATING 5.0" took place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest, organized within the project "Feasibility study for the integration of solar and wind energy in district heating systems with advanced heat storage solutions", implemented by Audit IT&C, in partnership with Electrocentrale București S.A. (ELCEN) and Norsk Energi.
🔹 Key points of the conference:
✅ Presentation of the results of the feasibility study on the integration of solar and wind energy in district heating networks.
✅ Discussions on technical challenges and innovative solutions for the modernization of district heating infrastructure.
✅ Norwegian and Romanian perspectives on the transition to District Heating 5.0 and the integration of renewable energies.
✅ Panel discussions with experts from industry, government and academia on digitalization, advanced technologies and energy efficiency.
The event created a valuable framework for exchanging knowledge and strengthening strategic collaborations for the transition towards a sustainable and energy efficient heating system.
