Project description:

Aim of the project: to realize an innovative technological solution for the production of green hydrogen from biomass, based on steam gasification and advanced syngas filtration, which will contribute to the strengthening of the company's position on the energy market and to the increase of sustainability through the exploitation of renewable resources.

Results:

  • Innovative plant for obtaining green hydrogen by biomass gasification with advanced filtration system;
  • Equipment purchased for productive investment;
  • Patent application registered with OSIM;
  • Prototype 1 - improved gasification plant and prototype 2- syngas filtration plant;
  • Equipment purchased for R&D activity.

The products developed within the GREEN-GAS-H2 project target strategic industries in Romania and Europe, aiming at the transition towards sustainable and energy efficient solutions.

Chemical industry - Producers of methanol and fertilizers, interested in technologies that help reduce emissions and increase the efficiency of industrial processes in line with new environmental regulations.

Energy Industry - Energy companies integrating renewables and solutions to reduce carbon footprint. The project facilitates the production and use of green hydrogen, essential in the energy transition.

Iron and steel industry - Actors in the metal processing industry that can use green hydrogen as a substitute for traditional fuels to reduce iron ore, thus contributing to the reduction of polluting emissions.

Advanced Materials Industry - Manufacturers of innovative materials that require high purity synthesis gas in their technological processes for high performance applications.

Gasifier manufacturers - Companies interested in modern filtration technologies to optimize gasification processes, improve performance and ensure environmental compliance.

Petrochemical and chemical industry - Industrial operators using gasification and gas purification processes in the production of chemicals require scalable and efficient solutions to protect the environment and optimize operating conditions.

By addressing these segments, the GREEN-GAS-H2 project offers technological solutions tailored to today's market requirements, supporting the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, increased operational efficiency and the transition to a green industry. The implementation of this project responds to the growing need for sustainable technologies in the context of European environmental policies and the European Green Deal.
